So I decided to update.  The last time I updated my journal I was in Hawai'i.  I'm back in SC.  Have been for ages.  I've been updating a little along with various bits of photography.  This is this thrilling part.  I just received a gift of two(2!) new(to me) 35mm cameras.  A Nikon and a Yashasomething.  When I remember, I'll come back and fix that.  I'm really thrilled because I also received a zoom lens!  I haven't had the chance to really test them out because I've been so broke.  I'm breaking down and spending the money so I can see how they work, though.  They are really clean and in fairly good shape.  It's been so long since I've spen

It's summer.  That means I'll be able to add more to my gallery soon.  Also, I'm in Hawaii, so I'll have GOBS of stuff to add.  I love the free time summer provides.  Let's hope I stay motivated enough to actually get all of my pictures (I have tons lately) posted. :sushi:

So, I'm a loser, haha.  I was just sitting here, drying my hair this morning before work.  While I was, I was also staring at/analyzing two pieces of my old photography on my wall.  I got this horrible wrenching in my stomach when I realized how much I miss real photography work.  Don't get me wrong, I lovelovelove my digital camera and all of the photography I've done with it.  It gives me an instant response to whether or not I've taken a good picture.  What I'm talking about... taking the pictures, developing the film, then spending hours in the dark room developing the pictures.  I love playing with the image, manipulating the photo, expe
